- 1 potato (neatly diced)
- 1 bowl chickpea (soaked overnight)
- 1 bowl (shredded coconut)

- 2-3 tbsp paanchforon (bengali five spice) (fenugreek seed, fennel seed, nigella seed, mustard seed, cumin seed)
- 2-3 green chili slit
- 2 tbsp cumin powder
- 2 tbsp coriander powder
- 1 tbsp ginger paste
- 2 tbsp ground garam-masala
- 2 tbsp red chili powder
- 1 tbsp ghee
- 3-4 tbsp mustard oil
