- Take a spoon and portionize the dough in same size pieces. Roll the to balls, make a hollow with your thumb and fill it with date paste, pistachios or other nuts or fillings.

- You can design with a fork, if you want to. Or stamp them with a form if you have.

- Preheat the oven to 160 ° Celsius. Bake the cookies for 20-25 minutes, till they are still light from above but got some colors on the ground.

- Let them rest for 5 minutes and than put them in a jar or bowl. Let them cool down completely.

- When they are completely cool, coat them with powdered sugar. (Don't do it when they are still hot, because the sugar would meld and this wouldn't look great.
